Unix Security Analyzer Help
Minimum Password Age
If supported by the operating system, the minimum permitted password age is listed. The analyzer first checks for default password ages that get applied to all users. If the operating system supports it (such as Solaris), it displays the lowest minimum password age assigned to an individual user instead of the default value.
Some operating systems have password ages defined in weeks. In such cases, the Detailed Server Results indicate the unit (days/weeks). However, the Summary tab lists all password ages in days for easy comparison in heterogeneous environments.
