Unix Security Analyzer Help

777 files

This is a full count and partial list of files on the server's local mounts that any user on the server can modify.
  • If this list includes log files, their integrity may have been compromised.
  • If this list includes executable files, malicious users with low levels of privilege may have changed files that have been executed by users with higher levels of permission. This is a method by which malicious users can change or access files without authorization or gain additional access.
For more information, please see the man page for chmod.
